This recipe is ideal for game day! For all chili lovers, here’s a new way to experience the best Bloody Mary Mix:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 (15.5 oz) canned kidney beans (undrained)
- 2.5 cups Seaside Grown Bloody Mary Mix
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 3 tbls chili powder
- 1 tbls smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
In a large pot, heat olive oil on low to medium heat. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook an additional minute careful not to burn the garlic. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain meat and return to the pot.
Add the chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly into the meat.
Add kidney beans, Seaside Grown Bloody Mary Mix, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover pot with a lid and continue cooking on low to medium heat for at least one hour, allowing time for flavors to combine. Check periodically to ensure the chili is not burning to the bottom of the pot, turn the heat down if needed.
Topping Ideas: sour cream, cheese, jalapeños, crackers, hot sauce, and onions.
